Recruitment
At the beginning of each semester, we hold Recruitment Week; which is a week full of different events and activities that are really fun, and free for anyone to attend! There are no obligations to joining our fraternity if you decide to attend any events. These are typically open-house type events where anyone interested in joining us, or just anyone who loves music, can come out and meet the brothers and see what our organization all about! Events include Potlucks, trips to Belle Isle, service events around the music building, game nights, and meeting with Alums and Honorary members, etc.

We are a Professional Service fraternity that is devoted to serving college and university band programs, while at the same time, working to advance the leadership skills among our members and doing our part to improve the community. We regularly hold leadership workshops and service projects to help sharpen our abilities as leaders. We also encourage everyone to hold leadership positions or roles of responsibility within our organization, as this is excellent way to gain valuable leadership experience first hand!
Everyone of us are musicians, and as musicians, we are constantly striving to better ourselves, and hone in our musicality skills. There is no better place to do that than in our organization! Composed of numerous Music Majors with various concentrations, there is always someone within our ranks who can assist you in your pursuit of being a better musician. Academics are very important to us, and always the top priority. School work and other related activities always takes precedence over fraternity affairs. To supplement academic excellence, throughout every semester, we hold numerous study sessions in which we reserve rooms in the library for use of brothers only. Another great trait of our organization is that we are composed of many majors from many different backgrounds and skill sets. Which means we are able to tutor, mentor, and assist with the academics of our brothers! Our Fraternity is a great way to network yourself! Being a brother means that you are instantly connected with over 60,000 people, and over 200 chapters, all spread out across every state in the US. Whether it be a job interview or just walking down the street, there is no telling where you might run into a brother! Lastly, being a member of our great fraternity means that you are part of our family. A family that always looks out for and cares about each other. You'll never have to worry about making friends, or dread eating alone at the dining hall. Countless amazing adventures and memories to last a life time lay ahead of you, with your future brothers! |
